The dropper design IS different than other eye drops, but for a very important purpose: it allows for a preservative-free solution in a bottle instead of in single use vials. Each drop is dispensed without any flowing back into the bottle and that means no contamination. If you use drops for dry eye more than twice a day using a preservative-free product is a must - drops with preservatives can make the problem worse when used multiple times daily! The humidifier has a "night mode" which is perfect for sleepers who are sensitive to light. During night mode there is no light coming from the humidifier whatsoever. It also runs quite silently, so it won't wake you with noise either.
Another feature I appreciate is that you can refill it from the top. You don't have to haul this appliance to the sink and unscrew it from the bottom, as is the case with many other humidifiers. With this one you just open the little flap at the top, and pour in fresh water as needed. That's such a time saver!
3. Limit your time spent staring at screens. Staring at screens can contribute to dry eyes, so limiting your time spent doing so can help. Take breaks often and give your eyes a rest.
The average person blinks 12 times every minute, but we only blink 5 times per minute when using a computer. Our wide-open eyes are more prone to dryness, experiencing eye strain, developing headaches, and feeling irritated.
Taking frequent screen breaks gives our eyes time to relax after focusing on digital screens.

The air bladders that inflate and deflate rhythmically are targeted on the temples and the lower part of the eyes. The vibration feature is nice and I like how they offer different modes/combinations of the massage, vibration, and heat. The blue tooth music link to a device and the speakers on the headset are weak but it’s a nice attempt to add another dimension of relaxation. The only things I wish were better are that it feels slightly heavy and so it pulls downward if you’re wearing it and not laying down, causing the strap to slowly migrate even if tight.

Although eating fish is an option for a natural dose of omega-3 fatty acids, you can also take supplements.

My doctor had suggested a much more expensive brand, but I decided to try these first to see if they'd work as well. The dosage is half the measure of the other brand, but even using twice as many capsules a day, they are much more reasonably priced. It took a full week before I saw an improvement, but they worked!! I have been taking them faithfully for four months, and my eyes are normal again. Be sure to take them with food to avoid stomach upset.

My ophthalmologist recommended this supplement due to my age and previous cataract surgeries. And it’s inexpensive.
